Football Recap: Dawson County Falls to East Forsyth in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Dawson County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the East Forsyth Broncos by a score of 19-16 on Friday. The Tigers lost against the Broncos in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 38-7 score last time.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed ten in total. All those points came courtesy of Jacob Felkai: he added nine points with three field goals and another on an extra-point kick.

East Forsyth has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Dawson County has already played their next match, a 37-22 loss against East Jackson on the 29th. As for East Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-14 victory against Winder-Barrow on the 29th.
