Javon Lawrence Delivers Best  Performance of Season
  Javon Lawrence produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Rockland to the win  on Thursday. Lawrence rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 81-yard run.
 The  win was  the third in a row for North Rockland, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. They and John Jay are set to duel  on Friday.

Logan Lawrence Turns in Season-Best  Performance
  Logan Lawrence produced his most outstanding game to date while leading John Jay to the win  on Sunday. Lawrence threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 John Jay moved to 1-5 with that  win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. They and North Rockland are set to duel  on Friday.

Arlington Gets a Boost from Tuttle in  41-28  Defeat
 While Arlington might've come up empty  on Thursday,  Jayden Tuttle wasn't going down without a fight. Tuttle was dynamite, picking up 48 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 30 yards.
 On the season,  Tuttle  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 55.5 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season,  he was only averaging 3.67  receiving yards per game.

Ryan Rancourt Makes It Two for Arlington
 Keeping Tuttle company is  Ryan Rancourt, a fellow Arlington player. He rushed for 56 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown.
 For the season,  Rancourt  has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 115.8 passing yards per game.

John Jay's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to  Derek Schukal
 Thanks in part to  Derek Schukal, John Jay said goodbye to their six-game losing streak  dating back to last season. Schukal produced his best game of the campaign  on Sunday: he picked up 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 This year,  Schukal  has caught  those 2 touchdowns while averaging 32.8 receiving yards per game.
