Softball Recap: Sierra Victorious

Sierra won against Parlier on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Sierra walked away with an 11-6 win over the Minarets Mustangs. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sierra got a massive performance out of Dixie Dow, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kk Mikesell, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Sierra was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .643. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Sierra back to even at 4-4. As for Minarets, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sierra will welcome Riverdale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minarets, they will be playing at home against Exeter at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
