Soccer Game Preview: Scranton Prep vs. North Pocono

The Scranton Prep Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the North Pocono Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Scranton Prep will be strutting in after a win while North Pocono will be coming in after a loss.

Scranton Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Valley View by a score of 2-0. The victory was some much needed relief for Scranton Prep as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, North Pocono didn't have quite enough to beat Scranton on Wednesday and fell 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as North Pocono came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Scranton are ranked 331st).

Scranton Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for North Pocono, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-1.
