Soccer Game Preview: North Stafford vs. Brooke Point

The North Stafford Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Brooke Point Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Stafford is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to Colonial Forge. While losing is never fun, North Stafford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Colonial Forge are ranked 84th).

Meanwhile, Brooke Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Riverbend.

Brooke Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for North Stafford, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1.
