The Nocona Indians put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 75-27 win over Millsap at home. Considering Nocona has won three matches by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
When it comes to explaining why Millsap lost, one person who can't be blamed is Claire Dale. Despite the final result, she scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds. Dale scored a full 37% of Millsap's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Nocona pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Millsap, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
