Soccer Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carlisle can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Summerfield Hornets on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Carlisle's goal came courtesy of Ivan Garza, who's now up to 14 this season.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for New Summerfield, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

As of now, neither Carlisle nor New Summerfield have any future games scheduled.
