That's the most hits Wolfe has posted since back in April of 2024. Silas Wilson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Master's Academy had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 16-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Luke Bona was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Ciufo, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Master's Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Master's Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
