The Magdalena Steers can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 62-21 victory over Capitan. Winning may never get old, but Magdalena sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Joseph Zamora was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeffrey Stuteville, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Magdalena's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Capitan, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magdalena will take on Reserve at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Reserve is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Capitan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Melrose at 7:00 p.m. Melrose is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
