Baseball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View was the 7-3 winner over Delaware Valley when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Warriors on Monday, falling 11-5.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Delaware Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Valley View will head out on the road to face off against Crestwood at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delaware Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Pocono at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
