Arlington faced Collierville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won six games in a row.

While Arlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18.

Addison Harris paced Arlington's offense, picking up 13 kills. Harris got some help from Eman Nuhic and her 25 assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Arlington's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Collierville, their defeat ended a 23-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Collierville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hutchison on the 23rd. Hopefully Arlington paid attention to the Dragons' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Dragons at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
