Basketball Recap: Hayden Rendell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lincoln Prep over Glendale Prep Academy

Lincoln Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins, falling 43-20.

Several Lightning players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Rendell, who posted six points along with eight steals and six boards. Those eight steals gave Rendell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Treglia, who had six points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Lincoln Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Glendale Prep Academy, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Lincoln Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-16 victory against Arete Prep on the 31st. Glendale Prep Academy has also already played their next game (against Wickenburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
