Cumberland Valley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Altoona Mountain Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Cumberland Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Aidan Dunwoody paced Cumberland Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dunwoody got some help from Isaiah Sibbitt and his 30 assists. Dunwoody was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Cumberland Valley's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Altoona, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Cumberland Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Northeastern at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Altoona, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th.
