Livingston barely beat Caldwell the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lancers blew past the Chiefs 7-1 on Saturday. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Livingston's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Caldwell, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10-1.

Looking ahead, Livingston will host West Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Caldwell, they will head out on the road to challenge Mount St. Dominic Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
