Basketball Game Preview: Strasburg Indians vs. Yuma Outlaws

The Strasburg Indians will take on the Yuma Outlaws in a tournament on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Strasburg saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 58-49 to Highland. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Yuma suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against University, falling 55-35. While losing is never fun, the Outlaws can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 15th).

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Yuma, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-11.
