            Softball Recap: Prospect Panthers vs. Evergreen Valley Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Prospect can  bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Friday. They never let the Evergreen Valley Cougars get on the board and left with  a   17-0  win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2022.
 Kendall Tabora made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only a  hit while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. Tabora was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  triple.
 In other batting news, Prospect got a  massive  performance out of  Dani Rauscher, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Rauscher a new career-high in  RBI (two). Another player making a difference was  Isa Shields, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
 Prospect  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evergreen Valley only posted  an  OBP of  .118.
