Basketball Recap: The Weber School Rams vs. Mount Paran Christian Eagles
The Weber School played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 89-37 loss at the hands of the Mount Paran Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 504th, while the Eagles are ranked 242nd).
It was another big night for Cameron Hewling, who went 11 for 14 on his way to 26 points and three steals for Mount Paran Christian. Hewling continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will face off against Business Engineering Science Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Business Engineering Science Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Mount Paran Christian likes a good challenge.
