Basketball Recap: Arborbrook Christian Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against TPLS Christian Academy, Arborbrook Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 51-39 victory over the Lab University Prep National Kings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-35 back in November of 2024.

Lab University Prep National lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Callie Genece, who posted 18 points along with five assists and three steals. Kali Dancy was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.

Arborbrook Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Lab University Prep National, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Arborbrook Christian Academy will host Providence Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Providence Classical will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Arborbrook Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lab University Prep National, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on 1 of 1 Academy on February 3rd.
