Basketball Recap: Reavis Comes Up Short

If Reavis was riding high fresh off their 44-12 takedown of Bremen last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Reavis Rams lost to the Andrew Thunderbolts at home by a 58-42 margin on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 490th, while the Thunderbolts are ranked 207th).

Reavis has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Andrew, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.

Reavis will challenge Thornton Fractional South at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thornton Fractional South has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three games. As for Andrew, they will welcome Lockport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
