Football Recap: Bishop Guilfoyle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Bishop Guilfoyle was riding high fresh off their 42-18 takedown of Penns Valley Area last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marauders took a 28-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richland Rams on Saturday. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Although Bishop Guilfoyle took the loss, they still got scores from Jake Kissell and Tyson Lestochi.

Richland found their leader in sophomore Joe McAneny, who picked up 1.5 sacks and made nine total tackles (2.5 for loss).

Bishop Guilfoyle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Richland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Bishop Guilfoyle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Bellefonte on the 5th. As for Richland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-0 win against Westmont Hilltop on the 5th.
