Baseball Recap: Clear Brook Victorious

Clear Brook won against Liberty on Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Wolverines came out on top against the Splendora Wildcats by a score of 8-3. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Benavides, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Gracia, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Clear Brook's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Splendora, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Coming up, Clear Brook will head out to challenge Clear Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Splendora, they will be playing at home against Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
