Clover is 9-1 against Nation Ford since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Clover will welcome Nation Ford at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Clover sitting on four straight victories and Nation Ford on seven.

Clover had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Indian Land on Tuesday. Clover was the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over Indian Land. Lily Manuel was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Nation Ford faced Catawba Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Nation Ford never let Catawba Ridge get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Nation Ford's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

Nation Ford's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three matchups. As for Clover, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Clover beat Nation Ford by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Clover repeat their success, or does Nation Ford has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
