Liberty Tech Magnet is still winless after their matchup against First Assembly Christian on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the First Assembly Christian Crusaders. One positive for Liberty Tech Magnet, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

First Assembly Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Banks, who went 6 for 7 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylan Alexander, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 16 points.

Liberty Tech Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for First Assembly Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 2-11 record.
