Volleyball Recap: Anderson County Comes Up Short

Anderson County's tournament run continued when they took on Marais des Cygnes Valley on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marais des Cygnes Valley can attribute much of their success to Ella Reed, who had 11 digs. That's the most digs Reed has posted since back in October of 2024.

Anderson County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, the win (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

Anderson County has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Santa Fe Trail on the 4th. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Wellsville on the 4th.
