Softball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Has No Trouble Against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton

Kenyon-Wanamingo won the last time they faced Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights blew past the Bulldogs 26-15. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Allina Mendoza, who fired off two home runs, five runs, and seven RBI while going 3-for-5. Those home runs were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Vanessa Bartel, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kenyon-Wanamingo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matches.
