Volleyball Recap: Valle Catholic Takes a Loss

Valle Catholic lost against Jackson back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Fighting Indians. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Valle Catholic had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20.

Ava Bauman paced Valle Catholic's offense, picking up six kills. Bauman got some help from Reece Weiler and her seven assists.

Valle Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 21-5-1. As for Jackson, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-1.

Valle Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Winona on the 11th. As for Jackson, they will face off against Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
