Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yale). They came out on top against the Armada Tigers by a score of 69-62 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Yale's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Armada, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-1.

Yale and Armada should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Yale (ranked 84th) will meet North Branch (ranked 376th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Armada will challenge Algonac at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 401 places (60 vs. 461).
