Softball Recap: Etowah Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Etowah can now relate to. They fell just short of the West Limestone Wildcats by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday.

Etowah has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-22 record this season. As for West Limestone, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 43-5.

Etowah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Limestone, they will challenge Madison County at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
