Montpelier's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Stowe. Montpelier might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Despite a strong season so far, Hazen has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 3-0 to Harwood on Friday.

Montpelier's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Hazen, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1.
