Soccer Recap: Mishawaka vs. South Bend Riley
Mishawaka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the South Bend Riley Wildcats. The Cavemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.
Mishawaka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Bend Riley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mishawaka will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Warsaw at 6:00 p.m. on September 10th. As for South Bend Riley, they will face off against Penn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
