Basketball Recap: Vacaville Comes Up Short

Vacaville was the 74-72 winner over River City when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Vacaville Bulldogs were dealt a 76-34 loss at the hands of the River City Raiders on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nick Rodriguez was a one-man wrecking crew for River City as he went 8-for-15 from beyond the arc to rack up 24 points. Deon Clay was another key player, putting up eight points.

Vacaville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for River City, their record is now 9-19.

Looking ahead, Vacaville will take on Wood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. River City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
