Softball Recap: Mount Tabor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Parkland on Thursday, Mount Tabor came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 13-3 to the Davie War Eagles on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-2 defeat two weeks ago.

Mount Tabor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eva Dardeau, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Mount Tabor has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Davie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Mount Tabor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davie, they will square off against Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the War Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
