Basketball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Plano West Wolves, falling 76-54. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Wolves are ranked 47th).

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Plano West, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Princeton Panthers duke it out with the Mt. Pleasant Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Plano West, they will take on Anderson in a tournament on Friday.
