Robstown is a perfect 8-0 against King since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Robstown will host King at 7:00 p.m. Robstown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Robstown will bounce into Friday's match after beating Tuloso-Midway, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Robstown walked away with a 5-2 win over Tuloso-Midway on Tuesday.

Karina Trevino made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.

Trevino wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jianna Olguin, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most hits Olguin has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Zapata.

Robstown's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Robstown took their win against King in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-1. Does Robstown have another victory up their sleeve, or will King turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
