            Baseball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions vs. Bradford Railroaders        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Dayton Christian, Emmanuel Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Bradford Railroaders as they made off with  a  12-1 win. Considering the Lions' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 Cole Bowden made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit over five innings pitched. Bowden was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Those  runs marked the first that  he  scored this season.
 In other batting news, Emmanuel Christian Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Jack Meyer, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  Meyer has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Grady Kohl, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI and one  double.
Emmanuel Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Bradford, their loss was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian Academy will face off against Catholic Central at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Bradford, they will square off against Tri-County North at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
