Volleyball Recap: Hingham Takes a Loss

Hingham was the 3-0 winner over Marshfield when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Harbormen fell 3-1 to the Rams on Friday. The Harbormen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liana Melgoza paced Hingham's offense, picking up ten kills. Melgoza got some help from Ava Boschetto and her 24 assists. Melgoza was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hingham's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Marshfield, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Hingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Scituate on the 22nd. As for Marshfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Hanover on the 22nd.
