Sutherland has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mendon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Sutherland is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

Sutherland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Victor, who was ranked 20th at the time (Sutherland was ranked second). The Knights came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 32-30, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Mendon made easy work of Honeoye Falls-Lima on September 11th and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.

Sutherland's victory bumped their record up to 22-1-2. As for Mendon, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Sutherland beat Mendon 3-1 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
