Volleyball Recap: Sugar Valley Rural Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sugar Valley Rural came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack, falling 3-0. The Phoenix have struggled against the WolfPack recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-13.

Sugar Valley Rural now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Sugar Valley Rural will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Columbia at 5:30 p.m. on October 14. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they will square off against East Juniata at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
