Basketball Recap: AIMS College Prep Comes Up Short

AIMS College Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Ukiah on Friday. The AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ukiah Wildcats. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ukiah was led to victory by Kaleo Olson and Dareon Dorsey. Olson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 boards, while Dorsey almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew McNiel, who posted no points in addition to ten rebounds and six steals.

AIMS College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Ukiah, they moved to 1-7 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. AIMS College Prep will head out to square off against Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ukiah, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ukiah Wildcats take on the Windsor Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
