            Volleyball Recap: Westlake Thunder vs. Centennial Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Westlake posted their closest  victory since October 5, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Centennial Bulldogs  2-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Thunder.

 Laleleilagi Harmon was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had nine  digs and five  aces. Those  five  aces gave  her a new career-high.  Ema Harris also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assists of the season.
 They weren't the only good server: Westlake  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 13  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in four consecutive  contests.
 Despite the  loss, Centennial had strong showings from  Avery Meservey, who  had 15  digs and one assist, and  Hazel Jauregui, who  had nine  digs.
Westlake's record is now 3-7. As for Centennial,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.
 Westlake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  2-1  loss against Riverton on the 5th. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  win against Layton on the 5th.
