Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Twin Lakes). They put the hurt on the Rensselaer Central Bombers with a sharp 14-4 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Bombers: they've now won eight in a row.

Twin Lakes got a massive performance out of Carson Wagner, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most hits Wagner has posted since back in June of 2024. Cooper Dold was another key player, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases and three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Twin Lakes kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.6.

The victory got Twin Lakes back to even at 5-5. As for Rensselaer Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Twin Lakes will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bombers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
