Volleyball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Gets the Win

Bishop Fenwick won the last time they faced Danvers and things went their way on Friday too. The Crusaders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons.

Bishop Fenwick had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 28-26, 25-16, 25-17.

The win got Bishop Fenwick back to even at 1-1. As for Danvers, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Fenwick will take on Arlington Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Crusaders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Danvers, they will square off against Beverly at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
