Rock Canyon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Broomfield Eagles as they made off with a 76-54 victory. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 74-65 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Rock Canyon was led to victory by Jacob David and Cooper Ellwood. David went 9-for-18 en route to 25 points and seven rebounds, while Ellwood almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Ellwood a new career-high in assists (six). Another player making a difference was Kai Valentine, who posted seven points along with 11 rebounds and five blocks.
