Football Recap: Fayette Takes a Loss

Fayette extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-5. They lost 28-8 to the Harrisburg Bulldogs. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 16-6 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Harrisburg, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Rylee Robinson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 82 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 99 yards and one TD. Hunter Winscott helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fayette is set to take on their familiar foe Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harrisburg will square off against rival Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
