Southside Christian had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Palmetto Mustangs by a score of 46-36. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-48 back in January.

Palmetto's loss came despite strong showings from Skyler Ellison and Carrigan Holbert. Ellison posted 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Holbert earned seven points and 12 boards. Holbert is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games she's played. Kelli Allen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.

Southside Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Palmetto, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Southside Christian has already played their next contest, a 67-21 defeat against Powdersville on the 5th. As for Palmetto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-39 loss against Christ Church Episcopal on the 7th.
