Baseball Recap: Oak Glen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Berkeley Springs on Saturday, Oak Glen came back down to earth. The Golden Bears came up short against the Indians on Saturday, falling 12-2. The Golden Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 11-4.

Cam Carter was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Oak Glen has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. Berkeley Springs' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Glen will head out to face off against Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will challenge Spring Mills at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
