Basketball Recap: Lake Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northwood last Monday, Lake came back down to earth. The matchup between the Lake Flyers and the Genoa Area Comets didn't end well, with the Lake Flyers falling 59-45. The Flyers haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Genoa Area, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Lake will look to defend their home court on Monday against Carey at 5:30 p.m. Genoa Area has already played their next game (against Southview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
