Coppell had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 48 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 59-32 win over the Georgetown Eagles. While the Cowboys didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Coppell's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Georgetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Coppell will welcome Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Georgetown, they will venture away from home to take on Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
