Volleyball Recap: Rock Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Rock Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Crawford County Wolfpack. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-6.

Gwen Burton paced Rock Creek Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Burton got some help from Khloe Lowe and her six assists. Burton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Rock Creek Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Crawford County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

Rock Creek Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Southridge on the 13th. As for Crawford County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Scottsburg on the 13th.
