Soccer Game Preview: Zion Christian Academy vs. Agathos Classical

For the first time this season, Zion Christian Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home pitch against the Agathos Classical Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Zion Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Agathos Classical will be coming in after a loss.

Zion Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Loretto get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Agathos Classical managed to keep up with Forrest until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Agathos Classical came up short against Forrest, falling 5-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Agathos Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Zion Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-2.

Zion Christian Academy beat Agathos Classical 2-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Zion Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Agathos Classical turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
